AREAS OF WORK

Where BRED Works, Where Communities Grow

From health and education to climate resilience, rights, livelihoods and humanitarian response, BRED works across interconnected development needs....

Inclusive and quality education 01

Inclusive and quality education

Establish community-based learning centers equipped with digital and traditional resources, integrating culturally relevant curricula and remedial programs to bridge learning gaps for marginalized children, adolescents, and adults, while training local educators in inclusive teaching methods.

Comprehensive healthcare (including SRHR & GBV) 02

Comprehensive healthcare (including SRHR & GBV)

Strengthen healthcare delivery by deploying trained community health workers for door-to-door education, screenings, and SRHR counseling, while operating mobile health units in remote areas to provide comprehensive services including maternal care, family planning, SRHR, and GBV support. A structured referral system will also be developed to ensure women, adolescents, and marginalized groups can access advanced health services and GBV management with proper guidance on available resources.

Human rights, gender equality, and social justice 03

Human rights, gender equality, and social justice

Form community rights forums and legal aid networks that provide awareness sessions, paralegal support, and advocacy campaigns, engaging both grassroots and policy-level stakeholders to promote equitable laws and protect marginalized groups.

Climate-resilient and sustainable livelihoods 04

Climate-resilient and sustainable livelihoods

Facilitate skills training in eco-friendly agricultural practices, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable enterprises, coupled with access to microfinance and market linkages to create climate-resilient income opportunities

Hunger, malnutrition, and poverty reduction 05

Implement integrated food security programs combining community-managed nutrition gardens, school feeding initiatives, and targeted cash/food transfers, alongside capacity-building in small-scale agribusiness and social safety nets.
